National insecurity:In the US and in Iraq

The ability of Bush & Co. to provide national security is revealed in Iraq. There is no security there. On the contrary, it has to be one of the most dangerous places on earth. All compliments of the "freedom lovers" in the white house. In the US lots of folks are all worked up about the port deal....as though one more foreign owner of a US port will threaten our security. Remember Timothy McVeigh? A very dangerous home grown terrorist. The notion that we will be more safe if we even check every single container at every port in the country is questionable. Any terrorist with a brain will not try and slip through heavily scrutinized areas. Instead they will probe the porous borders of our country, which in no way could thoroughly prevent anyone from bringing in whatever, or whoever, they want. Perhaps if the US would assist in making people more secure, in whatever country they live, we could be safer. As it is, greed and ideolgy override all moral and ethical considerations, and the US actively feeds terrorist pschosis around the world.
